Watermark Hotel & Spa – Bali, Indonesia

Beautiful Japanese inspired rooms, decked out in pure luxury and mixed in with modern and elegant finishes, the Watermark Hotel and Spa located in the beautiful part of Bali, Jimbaran is the perfect place for families, couples and business travellers seeking to sit back and relax in the tropical heat of Indonesia.

This brand new hotel, which has just celebrated one year of opening, is known for it’s Japanese inspired restaurants, rooms and Tranquility Liang Spa. With two beautiful outdoors pool areas, a beach club, three restaurants and over 7 room types it’s no wonder our stay at this stunning new hotel was so impressive.

Location:

Located in the area of Jimbaran, Bali the Watermark Hotel and Spa is only a short 14 minute drive away from the airport, 10 minute walk to the beach and only minutes away from all the local shops and restaurants. You will find the area of Jimbaran very safe, very nice and a great peaceful place to truly enjoy and relax in during your stay. Everything is very central around the hotel including local supermarkets, taxis and of course the beautiful beaches!

Rooms:

The accommodation at the Watermark Hotel and Spa, you will find is very nicely laid out. The rooms are spacious and modern with a touch of Japanese inspired architecture and furnishings. The room types vary, but most have an outdoor balcony, which overlooks the beautiful ground floor pool area, and out onto the surrounding gardens. You are also able to completely unwind outside on the balcony area, not only to take in the views, but also to totally chill out on the nice cushioned sofa bed.

The rooms have a beautiful deep soaking bathtub, kitchenette area with a microwave, fridge and sink, along with air-conditioning Wi-Fi, and extremely comfortable bedding. The rooms come with double and single bedding options, of which you can also request and extra bed if you have an extra person staying in your room.

Restaurants:

The main restraint “W Senses” is a beautiful restaurant located on the ground floor. With its healthy and fresh meals amiable all times of day, this beautiful restaurant overlooking the swimming pool is a lovely place to indulge in some local Indonesian food during your stay. The head chef, Yoshifumi Machino is widely known for his expertise in the food industry and has worked in some highly regarded restaurants such as the Water Grill Oyster Bar in Japan.

If you are looking to try some beautifully inspired Japanese foods, head on over into the wonderful Nishizazbu Imadoki restaurant, which is known for it’s amazing soba and tempura! Head chef Eisuke Sonoda cooks up some amazing Japanese meals you just won’t want to miss out on.

Lastly there is the Angelique Cafe where you will find a range of pastry and desserts along with coffee and a light menu.

Amenities:

The main facilities located at the Watermark Hotel and Spa is the stunning Liang Spa, which is widely known for it’s signature Balinese massages, amazing smelling body oils and stunning treatment rooms. You can induldge yourself in relaxation by booking into a range of treatments, starting from 1 hour through to 6 hours. The staff are very well trained and honestly, I have never come out of a spa treatment that relaxed, and totally smelling like a frangipani tree! It was amazing.

You will also find the Petlie gift shop, Departure lounge, kids club, fitness center, getting rooms, boardroom, and ballroom all available to the guests of the hotel.

Another wonderful bonus of staying at the stunning Watermark hotel and spa is the free shuttle that takes you to the Beach Club nearby on the local waterfront. Here there are complimentary beach lounges and umbrellas situated on the quiet beach and you are surrounded by nothing but crystal clear blue water, and white sand! It’s just beautiful, and all included in your stay.

The Watermark Hotel & Spa situated in Jimbaran, Bali was such a central place to stay in Bali. The hotel amenities and service was just wonderful.
